STOP DeluXe 2.4uX (2.0.0)

+++ We are extremely excited to announce that, after a years-long endeavor, we have now made a STOP DeluXe game client which can be played on Apple Macintosh M-chip computers, which is absolutely huge because we thought this was never going to happen in the first place. A huge shout out to MangoFusion and RandomityGuy for making this possible! Please note that the minimum system requirements are now:
Windows 8.1 or above
macOS 11.0.1 (Big Sur) or above

+++ We are extremely excited to announce that, after a year of being suggested, by popular demand we have built a STOPX Player ("Launcher") which will eliminate the use of InstallShield and support better game updating procedures for the rest of the project's life. We are so excited to get this off of the ground and also hope this will eliminate the need for hard upgrades. NO MORE downloading the Installer when there's an update!

+++ It's simple. It's quirky. It's classic. It's the STOP DeluXe Web Site! Now that Tekannabrand has become an official entity after 6 years of wanting to do so, our startup company now has its own web site which is powered by Miraheze at https://tekannabrand.org/
Come check it out! We have User Profiles, Forums, a home page complete with an Install page, the STOP DeluXe Game Guide and Wiki, and so much more than we can list here.

+++ There are two new different kinds of "waves" coming back to STOP DeluXe. This time, it is related to the revamped Hints and Cutscenes feature, and the other one is related to making our own assets completely. Here is how this is going to work.
For Hints and Cutscenes, every so often, we will update the game to include new Hints and Cutscenes throughout the Universes across both games in STOP DeluXe.
For assets, there are still a few that were owned or created by people at GarageGames and ROBLOX, and we are in the process of removing ALL of them and replacing them with OUR VERY OWN. The first wave has now released, which is described in the next section of the changelog instead of here.

+++ Last, but not least for our most important announcement, as part of the Revival of STOP DeluXe, we have upgraded our servers to our very own, which means we have much more bandwidth and storage space to help bring you the best of downloading STOP DeluXe and updates for many years to come. There is now no more need for other hosts, including MediaFire, as we now run and own our own game servers.

+ Added birth year to STOP DeluXe when you sign up for a User Profile. Since STOP DeluXe is catered to users of all ages and is on its way to something greater for users of all ages, anyone who is underage may not participate in events for real prize money (in the form of gift cards), access Jump Scares, or post in our Forums. For people who are under 13, please get permission from your parents and have them read all of our terms and conditions before they start playing STOP DeluXe. Thanks for your attention and your understanding on this matter as we transition towards a new generation of marble rollers.
+ By law, if we want to be able to send you newsletters, we must include a way to verify the e-mails of STOP DeluXe users (so if they choose to fill one out). Verifying your e-mail helps you become eligible for Newsletters and you also get a free hat in-game as well! Should you verify your e-mail, you will get a verification request from our No Reply e-mail address asking you to verify your account, which has certain days until expiration.
+ While it's known that you can customize your marble with Hats, Trails, and Faces, we have wonderful news: You can now display your character for all to see in Instant Replays! Cosmetics that you have set for your Marble (other than the Marble itself) can now be viewed in new Replays. Try to set some times for the next Rampage while wearing any cosmetics from the STOP DeluXe Catalog!
+ FoxerTails made completely new, rocking music for the project! Please welcome Menus Made of Marbles, which is our new menu theme for STOP DeluXe going forward. It replaced Midnight Stopper (2016-2024) by perkidos after so many years of being in use. The other two songs, Are You Y-2-O-K and Express My Love Through Tears, are found in many STOP II Stages.
+ We have completely revamped the options menu in STOP DeluXe as part of the game now only becoming an application which may use modern hardware. As such, this includes new graphical changing settings, new screen size settings, new F.P.S. settings, more in-game toggles, a more user friendly interface, and more!
+ Added a new feature where you can press a button to save the replay automatically. This is still in the works, so you will still be kicked out of a World if you happen to save a local replay. We hope to turn this into a system where the replay saves on each failure or when you exit from a World.
+ You can now reset the game's default settings in the options menu. WARNING: Doing this erases all of the settings you have saved in STOP DeluXe, and this button should only be clicked when told to do so by a STOPX Administrator.
+ The Final Boss in STOP II now guarantees its weakness to happen every 10-15 seconds. This does not affect the current BEST Time found in that World (not easier, not harder to get the BEST Time) and will remain up.
+ Teapots now produce an energy effect when picked up, further adding more accuracy to STOP II's silly storyline about Captain S. Marble and his lost Teapots.

~ We have made a total-conversion of our servers. No longer are we hosted, we have our own domains and servers now. We have done this in order to help you update the game much more smoothly and eliminate the need for hosting from download sites such as MediaFire. This change also means that the game is a lot faster to run and more user friendly, especially with our new STOPX Player.
~ Revamped Endgame Universe for the third and FINAL time. Although we said we weren't doing Stage revisions ever again when we said that in September 2024, the feedback we received on them was so good, we couldn't say no. Please do not ask us to change Stages ever again, we are finished with that portion of updating and thank you for understanding. In short, many of the stages are now easier to casually play, speed run, and contain lots of cool special effects and features that you can hardly find in any of the other normal Stages!
~ Revamped Cutscenes. Black bars now appear when a cutscene is playing, the camera better shows where you need to go, and there is special text that tells the player where to go when a cutscene is activated. What's more is if you turn Cutscenes off in settings, it only disables the camera and not the text telling the player where they need to roll to next!
~ Released Wave 1 of the Assets Upgrade. The following assets have been replaced with our very own made by Jiquor himself: Teapots, Dead Trees, Ice Panes, Snow Panes, Kickers, Bumper Rings, Oil Slicks, Ice Slicks, Cannons, Cannonballs, Duct Fans, Sucky Fans, Tornadoes, Gold Rings, and Red Cubes. More coming soon!
~ Fixed a ton of bugs where the incorrect camera distance was being reset after playing certain Construction Zones.
~ Players can now test certain aspects and features of STOP DeluXe every so often by being invited to a testing pool, WITHOUT having to update or download the game/a different game client for the game. How wonderful!
~ Fixed a bug where it was impossible to buy certain stages in the STOP II Section of STOP DeluXe
~ Fixed the shortcut for saving local replays, including the message telling you which button to press to save a Local Replay.
~ Minor text fixes
~ Fixed a bug where the points counter in Intermediate Construction Zone 39 was broken if one went over scoring by 999 Points. As an addition, you now cannot get more than 9999 Points in a single session of that Zone.
~ Fixed a bug where the Leaderboards could be viewed for Universe Complete! screens.
~ Fixed a bug where the general loading of Construction Zones took much longer than they needed to. Now they load even faster than ever before!
~ TeslaFather is now officially known as ScroogeMcFather across the entire game and the web site, by special request. Thanks for confirming this change.
~ Fixed a bug with object checking and loading that was slightly broken, causing more lag than was needed to be. This no longer happens, so you may now enjoy the game more smoothly than ever before!
~ Fixed a bug where the user could break watching an Instant Replay for a BEST Time by clicking the button over and over again. It now has a cooldown system.
~ Fixed an issue where the wrong items were being awarded to players. Everyone's inventory should now be accurate and ready to go - hundreds of players were affected by this bug - so if something still doesn't seem right, e-mail us for support and we will investigate the problem as soon as we are able to.
~ Players can now escape out of the Save Local Replay dialog if they press the button to activate it by mistake.

- We have unfortunately removed direct installation downloads from the previous web site, including the forums and announcements. To view our archive and download our game please visit https://tekannabrand.org/
Thank you for your understanding as we transition for the better. Clicking STOP DeluXe on the previous web site now brings you to our very own web site where you can download the game from there going forward.
- We are sunsetting support for the original version (32-bit) of STOP DeluXe. This was unfortunately necessary to support all the new options, functions, playability, smoothness, (etcetera) for the revived STOP DeluXe game client. Thanks for understanding, and for any concerns, please e-mail us at [email protected]
- We believe that we have contained a very scary marble with a red skull that likes to roll around every so often. This S.C.R. entity should now never be seen in the game ever again. Let us know if something isn't right. Remember: See something? Say something!
- The Staff Roll for STOP II is now an actual staff roll, which plays like a short movie. Thus, the BEST Times for that Stage are no longer possible to get and have been removed, along with the actual Stage that was able to be rolled around in.
- Removed Warm Hands and A Gentle Stab, Cave, Dark Cave, and Are You Asking for A Challenge?! (four former third party sound tracks).
- Removed a few more old and unused models that have been cluttering in our game files, or have appeared rarely with no valid reason in some of our Stages.
- We now say goodbye to Jiquor via Discord. Some of you may have noticed that Jiquor recently had his accounts on Discord deleted. This was a request which was filed by e-mail after problems with being a victim of bullying on Discord which would not cease. As another result, he decided to do this in order to focus harder on his final quarter at University, where soon, he will be working full time fulfilling his true career. STOP DeluXe is still continuing, and it's soon to get a graciously large update. He is still around, but there is no telling what will truly happen once he graduates, and all inquiries must now be directed to him by emailing us - thanks for understanding.
